What the heck is an "Amblyand"?
"Amblyand" is a made up word. It comes from a time when I was young, visiting with family in England and having taken a trip into Wales. In the small seaside town of Mumbles we ate turkish delight and went for a stroll.
An amble in Mumbles.
A mumbly amble.
An ambly mumble.
An ambly and mumbles.
An Amblyand.
The word is a wee bit of nonsense, but it reminds me of going for a slow wander, feeling comfortable and relaxed, indulging in the small beauties of the world.
